It's so very, very sad that so many people don't want us and there are so few foster homes available. Thanks to Lora, Cindy, and bunch of other wonderful volunteers, I was rescued along with my littermate, Beanie, from a nasty shelter in Colorado. We were transported all the way here with a home already waiting for us! Sadly, Beanie and I were just a little too much for our Dad to handle. After many, many years together, Beanie and I had to say "Goodbye". I am very, very sad, and miss him so much, but know he has a wonderful home. Now, it is my turn to find an equally great place. I am very active for a Senior boy. I am non-dominant and I'm adjusting to all these other Springers here, but am still quite nervous. My ideal home would be one with a retired couple who is home a lot, or can take me in the car. I LOVE riding in the car. In fact, sometimes I don't want to get out. Update 04 DEC 06: Now that I have adjusted to life at the Ranch, my foster Mom and Dad wanted to send a little update. I am doing so very well here with all my other family. Mom and Dad say I am a perfect gentleman! I am very calm, laid back, know the doggie door, have never had an accident in the house. I don't whine or beg, or get into any trouble. I sleep quietly on a doggie bed in Mom and Dad's room, and boy, do I have a healthy appetite! All and all, I am just a great guy, looking for an easy-going Forever Home with some nice folks to hang out with.
