He is energetic, curious and alert. He is crate trained, responds well to people, and gets along very well with our other dogs. He learns quickly, and adopts well to a new environment. He walks well on a Gentle Leader. He is curious about cats, but not aggressive. He interacted well with children in his previous temporary foster home. He is an affectionate and genuinely wonderful dog. Due to lack of past owner involvement, Gus is behind many dogs of his age in obedience and socialization. He needs a patient new owner with the time and commitment to work with him. With this attention, he will be a marvelous dog.
