Age: 4 years Gender: Male Color: Liver/White Weight: 42 lbs. Variety:Field-bred Meet Bailey, a big handsome boy. His history is a bit of a question mark. We know he was taken to a vet to be “put down” after a fight with his canine house mate. The vet refused, instead accepting him as an owner relinquish. The vet took care of his injuries, bites from the other dog, and evaluated his temperament. Having determined that the dog was suitable for adoption, we were contacted. Bailey has been in foster care for three weeks now, and has not shown any aggression towards the other dogs (two males and a dominate female.) He is, however, very cautious around the others, and is just now figuring out what play is. He knows basic commands, loves his crate (his safe place), and gets along with everyone including Lilly, my resident cranky old gal. He spends lots of time playing with his toys, which he will collect into one central location, then play with them one at a time throwing them into the air. Sometimes he just carries them around. He mostly squats to pee, and marking has not been an issue. He is doggie door trained, and doesn't get on the furniture. The bed is a different story. He's going to have some scars on his muzzle, but he is a really nice guy and deserves a loving place to call home.
