My name is Jake and I am the newest boy to enter ESRA's care here in Missouri, so let me tell you a little bit about me. I used to be the apple of my family's eye but some things started changing as I started to mature, and then I heard something about rehoming me ??? What?? I am really confused and still trying to get things figured out, but the nice people at ESRA have promised me that everything will be okay, so here I am - looking for a new forever home. Let me tell you a little bit about myself and maybe you might be just the home I am shopping for. I am a 2 ½ year old neutered boy and as you can see from my pictures, I am a very handsome liver and white fieldie. Yes, I said handsome, at least that is what everyone tells me. I am heartworm negative and up to date on all my shots. True to the nature of a fieldie, I love to run and run and then run some more and I am really fast too, so you better keep your doors closed as I just might do a quick escape. I have a very high prey drive, so ya also better keep the bunnies and squirrels out of the yard unless you want some presents from me. I am a little shy when you first meet me but I will quickly warm up to you and you will find that I am a happy, healthy boy looking for a companion to spend time with and get back to living the royal life I am accustomed to living. I am housetrained, crate trained and even trained to sit before I get my dinner or get to go outside ...... unless I sneak out and escape. I behave like a gentleman at the groomer and I like to sleep in my crate at night, but if you prefer other sleeping arrangements I would be happy to try out your bed. I like to go for car rides and behave myself quite nicely in the car. I get along with kitties, however, since my maturity, I want to be the only dog in the house and get all the attention, so how bout it? Are you looking for a fun loving dude like myself?
