To the person who owns this darling little smooth red dachshund baby, I sure do envy you. I had to have my wonderful little boy put down in August and it darn near broke my heart. These guys are the most wonderful little kids and have the most beautiful personalities. I never bonded with another dog like I did with my Hansie. We did everything together and I so envy you just starting life out with this little baby. You are so very lucky. My Hansie was 12 years old and he got congestive heart failure and we were dealing with that but then he got kidney failure and he was going to die in a few days and so I had to make the most difficult decision of any I have ever made and had him put down. I still ache for him today. Good luck with this one. I hope you bond with this baby like I did my Hansie and you have all the wonderful joys that Hansie and I did together.
