My name is Lady Gwen and while I am shy at first, once I get to know you I will turn into the warmest and most loving dog you have ever known. If you have an open lap I will soon be in it! I am a small black and white, field-bred girl and I just turned three years old. I weigh about 36 pounds, so I am a dainty little girl. I spent the first year and a half of my life with the breeder, who started to train me for agility competitions. As a result I know commands like sit, no, down, and more. I was adopted when I was about 18 months old and I was really a daddy's girl, but my luck changed and my Mom and Dad passed away, so now I am in search of a new forever home. I am crate trained and enjoy playing with other dogs, but I would be just as happy as an only dog so that I could get all of the pets and belly rubs I want. And I want them alot! I haven't been around young children very much, and am a little scared of them. I think that I would be happiest in a home with a family with older children or with an older couple (like my previous owners!). I am starting to learn how to play with toys, but I still haven't grasped the concept of returning the toy to the person who threw it... But it is my toy after all and if they want it so badly, why did they throw it, right? I am pretty active and love to take walks or just run around the back yard with my foster Siblings. I am a little more comfortable around women (at first)... But I warm up quickly to men, and my favorite place to be right now is curled up in my foster dad's lap.
