He loves to hang out near his people, adores other dogs and is calmly persistent in winning over any reluctant canine playmates. He is good with cats and we believe that he would be good with children. Arnie really likes to walk, hike and play. But with enough exercise, he is happy chilling out for hours at a time. He loves the outdoors but also has great house manners: he is housetrained and crate trained, he does not beg, does not countersurf and no longer jumps up on people. He occasionally sneaks up on the furniture, but is learning that's not the place to be. He knows sit, stay and down. He still pulls on a leash, but is getting better. He loves to go for car rides. Arnie is happy guy with a bright smile. He gets along great with everyone. His new family will sure be lucky to get him! He's a very easy and loving dog and will make a great addition to an active family. Arnie came to us from a retired Arizona couple that had to part with him due to their own health issues. He is used to being around people much of the day, a situation that he'd prefer continue. He's not clingy, but he does love to know that someone else is around.
