Age: 10 months Gender: Female Color: Black/White Weight: 40 lbs. Variety: Field-bred Hey Everyone! It's me – Maggie! Yep, I'm back at ESRA searching for my Forever Home. I was adopted a few days ago, but I chased the household cats and my new family didn't think they could teach me to leave them alone. So I guess if you fall in love with me, which I'm sure you will when you meet me, it would be best if you don't have any cats as pets. I am a very loveable puppy and cannot get enough attention. I love cuddles, playing ball, tug of war, and rough housing with the resident dogs. I get along great with all the dogs here, even the old grumps! I also like playing with stuffed squeaky toys and chewing on rawhide. Foster Mom: Maggie is a joy to have around. She has a true Springer puppy personality – exuberant, joyful and carefree. She was at home here from the moment she walked through the gate. She is not bashful around humans or other dogs. Maggie has had an unsettled life so far. She was an owner relinquish and has been in six different homes since then! Maggie desperately needs a Forever Home to offer her a loving, stable and structured life. Due to her age and unstructured background, Maggie will need to be enrolled in an obedience class. This is a great way for a new family to bond with their newly adopted dog. She will sit on command but has no other noticeable training. Like most Springers, Maggie needs a large yard to play in and should have another dog to be friends with and to keep her occupied. Maggie loves children, but children over 6 would be best suited to her untrained enthusiasm for life. Maggie is house trained, up to date on all her shots, is microchipped, has been spayed, and has tested negative for heartworm.
