Age: 9-10 years Gender: Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 50 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-Bred Hello, my name is Miss Emily. I was found as a stray and taken to a nice vet's office. The vet's office knew a lady who was associated with Springer rescue, so they called her and she came and got me. I am an older girl, so I was a little scared of new things, but my foster family's dogs were very nice and welcoming, as long as I stayed away from their food. I can't hear anything, but sometimes I can see my foster mom is moving her lips while looking at me. I remember those sounds, and she's smiling, so I must be doing something right. Even though I can't hear, I do very well when I have other dogs in the house, because they help me out. I am a very dignified lady and never go potty in the house. Sometimes I get up on furniture, to snuggle of course, and my foster mom doesn't mind if I do that. I've gone to the vet (which makes me very nervous although they smile a lot at me there), and I am all caught up on my shots, and I am spayed. Every weekend I go with my foster family to a big dog park. I feel like a pup again when I am there, and I run all around! I like all the smells too! I ride very well in the car on the way there. I do sometimes like to chase the family cat. That cat gets on my nerves because he jumps on counters and I know my foster family doesn't like that. So I have to bark and chase him when he does that. But if he's nice, and stays out of trouble, I'll let him lay right next to me. I would like a nice home where I can just relax, go for a daily walk, and cuddle with the family. I am low energy, so probably would like it best if I could be with some low energy people. No joggers, or bikers, please. Emily is a very sweet, loving girl who would really like to find her very own family to spend her later years with. She would make a wonderful companion dog and reward you with love and unending devotion. Emily would certainly brighten some lucky family's home, could that be you?
