Age: 2 years Gender: Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 34 lbs. Variety: Field-bred Meet sweet Georgia. She was found wandering on a busy highway and when her owners were contacted they refused to acknowledge that she was theirs. She then spent one month at a shelter before ESRA was contacted. What a sad story for such a beautiful young girl. Right now, Georgia is a quiet and mild-mannered dog. There's such a gentle nature about her. Because she's still nervous and unsure of her new surroundings, Georgia is a bit timid initially, but quickly warms up to you and seeks affection. Once she finds the bonding love of a family and home, we suspect her happy springer personality will emerge. She is a young "fieldie", so good daily exercise with lots of time and room to run will be a must. Georgia is now spayed, current on shots and we have started her on heartworm prevention. She's a healthy springer, however, she needs to put on 7-8 lbs. We've started her on a healthy diet and fish-oil supplements to help bring back the luster in her coat. With a little TLC, Georgia will be a stunning young lady. We would prefer that Georgia not be placed in a home with young children as loud noises do startle her.
