He was found as a stray, but he must have been part of someone's family at one time because he is a very loving, smart boy. He loves people big and small, he is wonderful with kids, and does really well with the other dog in his foster home. He also does just fine with the resident cats, not really paying much attention to them at all. Moses knows basic commands such as Sit and Down and has impeccable house manners. His favorite toy right now is a rope tug toy that he will often pick up and take to his foster mom and “encourage” her to play with him. He is housetrained, but does not like to be crated. He was very afraid when he was taken to the shelter, and does not like to be confined in that way. Moses is learning how to play with the stuffed animals in the house, imitating his Aussie “sister” and having fun. He does like to sleep in bed with his foster mom, but is a gentleman and sleeps at the foot of the bed, not too much of a bed hog! He does need work walking on a leash but is very smart and learns quickly. Moses is up to date on his vaccinations, is neutered, and heartworm negative. He is just waiting for that perfect family to call his own!
