The local vet and our rescue group quickly went to his aid. Chester is deaf but the neglect to Chester was unconscionable. He is on the road to recovery with medications for his pus filled eyes, his inflammed and swollen ears, and his scaley skin condition. The amount of mats taken from his ears equaled to handfuls. Chester is the poster springer as the "Come Back" kid. He was given a huge dog bed by his rescuers which he sleeps on all day and all night. He is housetrained and just loves to be petted and loved. He needs to add a couple more pounds and he will look beautiful. The prospective family for Chester is a family who truely wants to rescue a springer. He requires little maintenance. He just needs a family to love him and take good care of him. Hopefully, his past life will be forgotten as he heals.
