Age: 5 years Gender: Male Color: Black/White Weight: 40 lbs. Variety: Field-Bred Parker is a handsome black and white, field-bred Springer boy. At five years old, he's got tons of energy and would benefit greatly from daily exercise such as walking, jogging or possibly playing Frisbee. We would also recommend that he be enrolled in a basic obedience course, since, like many of the dogs that we get into rescue, it appears that no one took the time to teach him even his basic commands. He is, however, very smart and eager to please and would, therefore, make an excellent student. Although he's initially a little nervous when you meet him, he does eventually settle down and even gives a few kisses. He also gets along with other dogs and loves to play fetch. Unfortunately, we have a shortage of foster homes right now, so Parker has to stay in boarding. While we try to visit with him as much as possible and work on his skills, it's just not the same as being in a home where he would receive all the love and attention that no one apparently bothered to give him before.
