My parents asked Springer Rescue if they could find me a Forever Home as they could no longer keep me, and wept when they gave me up. Now, I am very happy and live in Houston with my foster mom. Since coming into the program, I've been busy chasing squirrels and birds in the back yard and loving my foster mom. I am neutered, up-to-date on all of my shots and I am extremely healthy and athletic young man. My foster mom thinks that I am very handsome. She just loves to watch me run and play. I will tell you if there is a stranger the door and at the same time I am a wonderful snuggler. That makes my foster mom feel very safe and happy, indeed. If you let me, I will play fetch with you for as long as you want. I can "Sit," "Stay," "Get on the Doggie Bed," "Get the Toy" and even "Shake" on command. However, my favorite request is to give doggie kisses to those I love. I probably need to be an only boy, but if you have a laid-back dog that would not mind me in her home, that might work too. I do very well at dog parks (I particularly like the one with the swimming pool - I am a great swimmer), but I also like to just hang out at home.
