Age: 2.5 yrs Gender: Male Color: Liver and White Weight: 55 lbs Variety: Bench, Show-Bred My name is JERRY SPRINGER, the shelter people named me and I like it, don't you? I got lost in New Orleans, and nobody could trace my owners; guess all the records from my tags have been lost. It was pretty tough, my back leg was hurt and I had heartworms. Lucky for me, ESRA took me into their foster program ESRA took care of my back leg, treated my heartworms, and got me a haircut! The vet (a very perceptive fellow) described me as a "great dog". Now I'm heartworm free, have gained a little weight, and look spectacular! My foster mom says I'm good looking, healthy and smart. I'm also energetic but gentle, and I know some basic obedience commands. I get along with all the other Springers in my foster home. Foster mom says I'm a clown, I don't know what that means, but I like to follow you around and sit in your lap, and nap in the sun! Foster mom also says I should warn you that I can climb a chain link fence before you can say Jerry Springer! I'd really like a family of my own. If you'll give me a chance, I'll be your best buddy!
