Album Info:

Age: 6 months Gender: Female Color: Black/White Weight: 30 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-bred Meet Sally, the newest resident to join Springerpaw Ranch! Due to a stroke in the family, she was unselfishly relinquished to ESRA. During the short few months she spent with her Mom and Dad, she was very much loved and cared for. Since she has only been in foster care for a day, we will update her story as her personality develops. We can tell you this, she is as sweet as they come! She is non-dominant, and was a bit overwhelmed when meeting our 18 "kids". She didn't really want to run or play with them, which is not that uncommon for the "new kid on the block." Her former owners tell us that while she plays ball, her preference is to hang out with you inside, and she has not had much socialization with other dogs as a result. At this point, she seems rather calm and quiet for a puppy, but her personality has yet to blossom. She was spayed today and is up-to-date on vaccinations. She should be ready for her Forever Home the first or second week of March. She is crate trained and appears to be housetrained as well. Female, Show-Bred puppies rarely come to rescue, thus we are going to be VERY selective about her new home. You must be willing to make a commitment to her for life, which could be as long as 15-17 years. Sally is lucky, she has had a good start in life, unlike so many others, and we want to make sure she will always have everything she deserves. She will need obedience training, and lots of love and patience. A puppy is a HUGE commitment, and a great deal of work, so please make certain that you are truly devoted to raising her before you apply. Because puppies are so rare, we must insist that you have at least submitted your application (see here) before inquiring. We also ask that you thoroughly read about the entire adoption process. Since we are expecting a large volume of applications, they will be pre-screened by our Arizona Coordinator before being forwarded to her foster home for further evaluation. We will then conduct a phone interview, a home visit and a vet check. It may take some time to do all this, so please be patient.
