I'm a Texan through and through and came to ESRA from the Texas Hill Country. I was picked up as a stray and no one ever came to get me. I ended up all dirty and matted in a shelter for 3 months. Now, though, I'm a tall and handsome fella, and a healthy one too! When I'm outside, my favorite things are running and swimming. I also love to play ball a lot! A large space for me to play is a must, and a place to swim would be greatly appreciated. While I like to work/play hard, I'm a real lover boy too. There's nothing I like better than cuddling and hanging out in the house. I'm housetrained, crate trained, and come when I'm called. I love to ride in the car, sit for my treats, stay off the furniture, and I'm learning to walk on a lead (though I'd rather run than walk). And I know better than to jump on people or do any of that counter surfing stuff. I'm a friendly and happy sort and love to be near my people...snuggling is my specialty. I get along with most other dogs, but am untested with cats. Because I love to run and play, I prefer kids big enough to play with me.
