The photo above is of Christina Nichole, on Sept. 1, 2004, the day after her release from the Rehabilitation Hospital following her coma and declared brain death recovery. We revisited the Neuro ICU unit at the hospital where the doctors meet with her parents (my husband and I) to request that we sign papers to allow them to euthanize her and harvest her organs. Clearly she is not brain dead and her doctor's diagnosis / prognosis were either 100% incorrect or she experienced a miraculous type of event that no one has explained to date. The chairs that Christina stand next to are the same chairs my husband and I sat in for two hours listening to doctors explain her brain death, with NIL chance of recovery. What a victorious photo this is!! This is one of those life altering times that will forever bring thankful praise to our lips and hearts to God for our countless blessings. Judy (Christina's Mom)
