I feel ashamed to not have left comment on this marveleous picture the first time that I viewed it. It is only fair that I'm making you aware that of all your pictures, this one stands out to be a very creative and wonderful capture of spirited moments, in your collection. A must download for me. Thank you, Lois for the sharing of your moments captured. Paul

Dear Lois. Peachie is a darling, but I expect she already knows this:-) Those curly feet coverings are so beautiful, but do you find that, as I do with Benjie, they collect dirt, burrs, and mud (yes, our drought has broken - after 36degrees Celcius weeks, we today have 18degrees Celcius because a tropical low has just swept by us, throwing cooler air from the south at us!) We expect that when the sun does appear, we are in for some iteresting heat! Oh well, my gardens love all this weather, but Jedda, my stumpy tailed cattle dog, gave me (and herself) a bad night last night - the very strong winds made lots of noises happen, and they worried her so much, she spent hours barking at it! In the end, I closed off my bedroom, put the air-conditioning on, and told her sternly - go to your Bed!! As she could no longer feel and hear the wind, she eventually settled down - on my bed!! Back to your beautiful photo of Peachie - you've captured the essence of the impish delight that is part of the attraction dogs have for us all. Total abandon to the moment - luxuriant rolling, stretching, and the possibility of a tummy-tickle - what more does one want in life (except for treats, of course! and big hugs and ear scratches!) I could go on and on with all the delights and travails of owning dogs, but I expect you know all this, 1st hand. Cheers, and I hope you have a marvellous New Year:-) Margaret down-under. Qld.Au.
