DEAR CLAUS, Have you adopted these two sweethearts, or just looking at them so far? They are INCREDIBLY ADORABLE, and look like they have GREAT personalities. Did you find them through a MAINE COON BREEDER or at a PET SHELTER? Since the loss of my dear TROUBLE at the end of NOV. 2006, I have looked at BREEDERS (very hard to find here, must also purchase them BEFORE they are born, as that is how fast they are purchased - and THAT I do not like, as I would want to interact with them before bringing them home, OF COURSE!!) BUT they are very far away from where I live - would take at least day to get there, overnight, see kittens, make decision, spend another nite, drive home.... and my mother is in Hospital right now. IF go with SHELTER KITTIES, many of them have medical or social problems - been abused, hurt, etc. However, I was just sent a pix of two BEAUTIFUL kittens, only 12 weeks old, sisters, as well as a litter of six that were left outside the shelter (in FREEZING/DEATH TEMPERATURES!!! IDIOTS - if no one had found them, they would have all died overnight. WHY NOT leave them during day???? STUPID, CRUEL PEOPLE, THOUGHTLESS....). HOWEVER, I had not looked at my email for over a week, and these kittens were emailed to me on FEB. 4th - will call tomorrow to see if still available. My mother has offered to pay for either PURE BRED or SHELTER kittens for me, as we both love cats so very, very much, and (as you do), know how much love they give in return. I'm still very sorry for the loss of FRITS, and though you will have lots of fun - and broken, scratched furniture with the new kittens - lol!! -- it will still take time to fully get over the loss of your 17 year old four-legged family member. Same with me... BLESSED BE, CLAUS -- Connierc
