Age: 5 Years Gender: Female Color: Black/White Weight: 45 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-bred Daisy is a very sweet and gentle soul. It's hard to imagine that her former family could have neglected her so. Her eyes tell you that she simply wants to be loved. We know little of Daisy's history other than a family member dumped her at the shelter. Lucky for Daisy, ESRA snatched her up and immediately started medical treatment, immediately offered her lots of hugs and kisses, and assured her everything was going to be okay . . . no, great! Daisy is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. What she needs is a nice quiet place where she can recover comfortably. When heartworm treatment is complete, we suspect some of that springer in her will reveal itself once again. Daisy is extremely calm and mild-mannered. When she first arrived, she was so dejected. But, each day we see a little more light in her eyes. This beautiful girl is on her way to recovery.
