When he looks at you with his big soulful eyes, you can see love and joy in them and it just captures your heart. This little boy has had a very difficult life. We found him in a shelter in Southeast Texas where he was in poor condition. He received immediate medical attention and is now is a happy, thriving, loving young Springer. Dogs that have been through adversity such as this tend to display love and appreciation for their current situation, and he does this in spades. He is a joy to have around and you can't help but smile in return when he gives you that silly Springer grin. Guy has recently completed his heartworm treatment and is now very healthy and ready for his Forever Home. He is up to date on all of his shots, housetrained, great on a leash, good with kids, and is learning basic obedience commands. His foster home has two cats, which he simply ignores. Guy is the perfect second dog. He has bonded with his foster Springer brother and sister, but would love to have a family, including one with another doggie friend, of his very own. Guy would also be so happy if a member of his Forever Family were “stay-at-home,” and could hang out with him as well. Guy is a happy, low-maintenance boy. He just wants to chill out with you or go on a walk. But don't let him fool you, Guy is a snuggle bug and sometimes will be the first one in line seeking love and affection. When you meet this boy, he will capture your heart. Guy is an “all-around” good boy and would be a wonderful addition to any family.
