He can only have the hard chew toys, as he destroys a plastic toy within a few minutes. He does not chew on anything else though, just his chew toys. He is dog-friendly, and loves to get a good game of chase going with another dog. He is up-to-date on all his shots, neutered, and micro-chipped. He loves to be brushed, and will stand perfectly for you to groom him with clippers. He did go to "puppy school" when he was little, but it needs to be reinforced. He needs to know who is the alpha in the pack, as most dogs do. He does not like to be kenneled. He can stay indoors all day long without getting into anything. A doggy door would be the ideal situation for this boy. He walks perfect on a leash, and loves to go for walks. He loves when he sees kids, and he wants to run to them to play. He will play lots of ball with you too! He rides great in the car, and will sit and wait for you with no problem while you are in the store. He may slobber up the windows a little though! He likes to sit with you on your chair & cuddle. He especially likes to sleep with you & will cry if you try to make him stay away from you on the floor. He was turned over to ESRA by his owners, as they had a new set of twin babies and were so busy that they could not give Clinton the attention they thought he deserved. He was like their child, and stayed in the house, slept with them, and went in the car whenever they could take him. As a promise to his former owners, he needs to be placed in the same type of environment he came from.
