Age: 5 years & 3-1/2 years Gender: Male 7 Female Color: Liver/White - both Weight: 57 & 47 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-Bred - both Maddie has known Jake almost her whole life. Jake's owner first got him and then when he was 1˝ years old, she decided that he needed a playmate. That's when Maddie entered the picture. Little liver and white, bench-bred Maddie looks so cute with Jake, who is also liver and white. Of the two, Maddie is more out-going and has a habit of trying to hog all the attention. Jake, although a little shy at first, also loves attention and will follow you anywhere. An experienced Springer owner will know how to give each dog the attention that he/she needs. These two Springers have been through quite a bit in the last week and a half. Their owner tearfully surrendered them at an adoption event saying that she could no longer keep them due to financial reasons. They have been entrusted to ESRA, and our goal is to find them a new wonderful home, where they can continue to live together, alternately romping in the yard and snoozing on the couch. Maybe you weren't initially looking for TWO dogs, but won't you consider it? Think of all the fun you'll have! To quote an old commercial, ”Double your pleasure, double your fun!”
