I walk well on a leash, enjoy being outside, sleeping on the couch, and like to lounge in my crate. I would prefer a home with no cats and older children, good food, some butt scratches and belly rubs and plenty of love. I come from a background of being a stray and have some mdical issues that are clearing up with good care in my foster home. I offer lots of love, minimal snoring, a good walking companion and not-too-drippy jowls when I drink and get along will with my 4-legged foster sister and have not even tried to unsurp her position as Queen of the house. I may seem a bit aloof at first glance, but I do like to cuddle next to people on the couch and lay at their feet. I am housetrained, know a few commands and like food of all types. We make him sit to get fed, or as we walk out the door, so he doesn't try to bolt any more. Now that he is comfortable, he is anything but aloof at first glance. He is part of the group. He enjoys hanging out with his foster sister and brother but is perfectly content in the crate while we are at work or sleeping. He chases embers around the campfire, loves to swim in the lake and will fetch until you take the dummy away. Benny would make a perfect mate for a home looking for a second pet, or he would be happy to get all the attention, too. He is a counter surfer, but we are working on that. He is a typical wonderful springer.
