Variety: Bench/Show-Bred My foster mom says I'm a bright, lively little dog who gets along with almost everyone except cats, but I need some special care at this time in my life. I'm looking for a forever home that is dog-centered because I suffer from separation anxiety, and when I'm left alone, I sometimes panic and claw at doors and windows. I think I'm getting better (and my foster mom agrees), but in any new home, you'll have to work with me so I understand that you can go away and come back without abandoning me. I also jump for joy and in excitement when you come home or when you tell me I can come with you. Again, my foster mom says I'm growing up and not jumping as much although she knows I might forget myself in a new setting. I'm taking some medication that will help me calm down and which will ease my anxiety, so by the time you meet me, I will be much better. I love long walks (which help me relax), places I can run off lead to burn up some energy, playing frisbee, splashing in water, chasing throw toys and being with my people. I'm housebroken, I know my basic commands, and I'm eager to please if you want to teach me some more. I've been accused of selective hearing when you call me, so maybe you could work with me on that. I like to share a sofa with the other Springer in the cabin, love to cuddle with my foster mom and adore my spot at the foot of the bed (it makes me feel like I'm really a part of a family, but I will sleep in my own bed if you insist). I ride well in cars as I'm interested in everything. You'll need to hold on to me around squirrels or chipmunks and help me change my focus. I will thrive in a calm environment.
