Age: 8 Years Gender: Female Color:Tricolor Weight: 54 lbs. Variety: Field Bred Jody is a sweet and gentle 9 year old whose first owner died. She was left in the care of family members who did not have time to care for her. Whatever neglect she has suffered in the past has not altered her loveable, calm disposition. She is great with other dogs and children (but maybe not cats). She greets everyone (letter carriers, UPS, etc.) with a wagging tail and big slurp. Though her days of endless "Springer" energy are behind her, Jody loves to spend time outdoors playing with her three foster boys, chasing (and sometimes catching) bunnies and birds with her Springer foster brother, or just sniffing the ground for something interesting. Even though she will initially pull a little, she is good on the leash and loves going for walks. Jody loves to spend time indoors with her humans either by your feet or on the couch next to you. She loves to snuggle and get her tummy scratched; tickle the hair between her toes and she will wiggle. Jody is crate trained and almost housetrained. If you are looking for a furry addition to your family, Jody may be the one for you. PS - A few words from Jody: "I think you should know that I snore a little. I know it isn't very lady like but I can't help it. I also like to explore those things people call trash cans; they're so much fun!
