Noah is a cute little bundle of energy, a typical pup whose favorite things are running and playing and then giving kisses. Noah really enjoys playing with the resident dog in the household, and he likes going on runs with his foster dad. He is housetrained, and he is quickly learning other manners from his family. They taught him to stop jumping up in his first day. He will know the rest of the commands soon. Noah came into rescue because his original owner dumped him with someone who didn't want him. The man didn't want him and tied Noah to the gate. Neighbors were concerned about Noah being stuck there during flooding, and asked the man to give him up. The nice lady took him to her vet for boarding so he was safe. Then she contacted ESRA. What this amounts to is that Noah was feeling confused and scared, and can be quite "barky" with people he doesn't know. He is uncomfortable with very young children, and would do best with kids age 8 and up. He also hated being crated at first. Now he cries a bit initially and then settles right in. He will do so well after just a bit of time with his loving foster family. While Noah is unsure of some new people, you'll see that when Noah knows you, he LOVES you. He is quite attached to his foster family and is really affectionate. He is going to make someone a devoted companion. We haven't seen him with cats yet, but he really likes other dogs. Noah would do best in a home with an active family who could take him places and give him lots of exercise. He needs a stable and safe environment with people who can continue his obedience training and give him lots of love. Another dog to play with would be great, if possible, but the most important things are guidance and attention. Stay tuned for updates on this adorable young boy.
