Poor Toby! 112 would be really hard on a black dog, I imagine! When we first came out to Glenden (inland from Mackay, Qld.) we were told Summer temps would max at that temp, and fall to about zero Celcius! We've seen just above the zero celcius, but only 102 F., so far. At that temp, the air felt burning on my face, and plants were in distress, because of very low humidity. Anyway, back to Toby - He's beautiful! I love shiny black dogs - we had one once (a labrador X kelpie). Regards.Margaret.Qld.Au.
