Age: 6 Years Gender: Spayed Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 40 lbs Variety: Bench/Show Bred Keely, the dog formerly known as Kiwi (she's now called Keely by her foster mom), is a beautiful 32 pound girl with an estimated age of 6. She also has the unique situation of having a beautiful, full tail complete with delicate and elegant feathering. We like to call her the petite princess due to her dainty stature and her regal personality! Keely is fully housetrained and does very well in her crate. She also has very good manners - just what you would expect from a princess. Her obedience skills include Sit, Down, Stay, Loose-Leash Walking, and Come. She's even almost ready to graduate with her Canine Good Citizen certificate. And, even though she is a good girl in her crate, she is allowed free reign of her Foster mom's bedroom when no one is home. Also, true to her princess reputation, Keely loves to be groomed. She does great at the groomers, and she even loves to have her teeth brushed! Her Foster mom says it must be because Keely knows how all this makes her that much prettier. With other dogs, Keely is very good at socializing in public, but she does tend to be a little jealous of dogs visiting her home. However, she does enjoy playing with other dogs once she has gotten to know them - she is adorable to watch when she's playing! She also does tolerate her feline foster sister, but we feel Keely would ultimately prefer a home without kitties. In fact, Keely is such a princess that she likely would do well in a home without other dogs or very young children so that she can soak up all the attention she so deserves. Keely is also at a perfect age - she is still quite active and enjoys taking long walks with her foster mom at least three times a week. Inside the house, she loves playing with her squeaky toys. She's very cute when she plays and still has a little of puppy playfulness in her. On the flipside, she's mellow enough to relax and be loving in the home, and doesn't constantly need someone to play with her. She also doesn't feel the need to bark at every little thing which makes her an even better house mate. Please consider adding Keely to her family so that you, too, can enjoy her welcoming you home everyday by wagging her long tail and giving you kisses. Who wouldn't want kisses every time they come home? Her Foster mom promises that she'll have you wrapped around her little paw within days!
