Variety: Bench/Show-bred We are pleased to introduce the newest member of Springerpaw Ranch - meet Andy or Dreamboat Andy as his foster Mom calls him! Andy came to ESRA after his family could no longer care for his allergies. While we are not certain what those are, we are cleaning his ears 3-4 times per day and giving him a holistic, salmon based food. He is already improving after just a few days so we believe just good nutrition and regular cleaning will suffice. Andy is the lover of all lovers and the wiggler of all wigglers! He is not overly energetic and is content to just hang out while you type on the computer or watch TV. He is one VERY happy Springer; so mellow and so loving of all creatures. He gets along great with his 14 canine brothers and sisters (ranging in age from 7 months to 14 years+) and has yet to even give the cats a glance. Although he has been untested with children, we believe he would be just fine with older kids (8+). Andy will not be in foster care long. Once you meet this boy, he will melt your heart away! We know you will find him as perfect as we believe he is. In case you didn't notice, he has a little brown on his right side, making him a rarer tri-color. He also loves to stick his tongue out just a bit and give you his paw for a shake; just a couple of his cute little traits that make him absolutely adorable! Because Andy will not last long, you MUST have an approved application on file before inquiring. Andy is neutered, housetrained, doggie door trained, knows basic commands, and will be UTD on his shots by week's end. He is truly one-of-a-kind and looking for that very special family! Update 11/14/06: Dreamboat Andy again. Just wanted to let everyone know I went to the vet today. I now how have all my shots and am in good physical health except for an infection in my left ear. It seems it had been neglected for quite sometime and got a little nasty. I will be on medication and daily cleaning for about a week and will be ready to go. Once it is cleared, routine cleaning is a must (but you Springer lovers already know that!) Update 11/24/06: Congratulations to Tommy of Prescott, AZ, on his adoption of Andy!
