Album Info:

Age: Adult Gender: Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 40 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-bred Bella is a true example of “Good Things Come in Small Packages”. She is tender, gentle and loves nothing more than to cuddle up with her face in your lap or curl next to you in bed. She can be a “talker”. When she does speak it is through moans of pleasure, small whimpers or occasional barks to let you know she needs something. According to her foster parents she practically purrs when getting love. Bella was pulled from a shelter where she came in a stray. She obviously had been neglected or on her own for some time as it was discovered she needed extensive dental work, was anemic and x-rays revealed some spinal osteo-arthritis (spondylosis) in her spine, which causes a little weakness in one front leg and affects some muscle control in one back leg. The dental and anemia have been taken care of, but she will need pain medication for the arthritis the rest of her life, not unlike many older companions or ourselves. The arthritis doesn't stop Bella. She gets around fine walking at various paces. She's able to climb up on the couch, her favorite place to snooze but needs help up getting on the bed. Bella rides well in a car, is great with other dogs and loves people. She enjoys her daily walks and is good on leash. She is spayed, micro-chipped and has good house manners. Her foster parents say she has the dearest, sweetest, most gentle spirit of any dog they have the pleasure of fostering.
