Age: 9-10 months Gender: Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 32 lbs. Variety: Field-bred Little Bella was picked up ss a stray by the Orange County Shelter. An ESRA member who works there alerted us and, after being spayed and microchipped, Bella came into ESRA's foster care. Not much was known about Bella since she was a stray, but since her arrival in foster care much has been learned. She's a happy, energetic, typical puppy! She's housetrained with a doggie door. She loves doggie toys and playing with the resident Springers in her foster home. Bella is a strong velcro dog, and loves to sleep on her foster mom's lap and next to her in bed at night. She rides in the car well, usually lying on the front passenger seat, and more often than not going to sleep there. She knows Sit and Shake, but some obedience training would be a good idea. She learned her new name in less than 24 hrs. I think she's very smart and, that plus her desire to please and the strong bond she forms with her humans, will surely make this little girl a quick learner and wonderful addition to any family. One with another dog to play with (and possibly kids) would be ideal. Bella tested heartworm negative and has a clean bll of health. She's a bit of an escape artist, so a very secure yard will be necessary - no wrought iron, at least unless she gains some weight so she can't fit through the bars! Also, she can jump a 3-4 ft. fence.
