Album Info:

Age: 10 years Gender: Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 55 lbs. Variety: Field -bred Jodi is a well-behaved, easygoing girl who is a joy to foster. She loves people and is very affectionate. She doesn't lick you and climb all over you, but loves to rest her head on your lap or lie at your feet. She loves to have the dog bed next to the couch so she can be near you. She likes other dogs and cats and just thinks everyone is great. Jodi's foster mom thinks she is very low-maintenance. Jodi is housetrained and will let you know when she has to go potty. She knows sit and comes to you every time you call her. At times we think her hearing is impaired and other times she does great, so that might be part of getting older. She thinks the dog beds are the best!! She loves resting on the dog bed in the living room, but she is smart and knows when it's time for bed. As soon as she sees her foster mom turn the TV off, she runs into the bedroom and gets comfy on the dog bed there. She gets along well with the resident dog and the cat. Jodi gets very excited when her foster mom comes home from work. SHe talks, and it's not a low "woo woo" but an excited yelp accompanied by jumping around. Jodi is 10 years old but is in good health. Her ears never have infections and her skin and eyes look good too. Her coat will be nicer now that she is living indoors and eating good food, but she really is healthy. She is a bit stiff and doesn't like steep stairs that well, but she just started synovi chews that are treats with joint health supplements. This sweet dog came to rescue because her owner passed away. The adult children took her in, but now that they are retired they wanted to travel and they could tell that Jodi was unhappy. Jodi was previously an indoor dog and got quite lonely as an outdoor dog at their house. They especially noticed how down she was after the dog and cat in the household died. In foster care, Jodi is definitely enjoying indoor living now and likes to have a pet companion, although she doesn't play. She and the resident dog really co-exist as friends rather than wrestle and romp. Jodi needs a home where she can spend time with her family because she is so people-oriented. She does well while her foster mom is at work. She spends time in the fenced yard and goes inside the garage if she wants, where there is another dog bed. She prefers this to staying inside the house alone. She loves to check out what's going on ourside. Then she loves spending time with her mom inside when she returns. When asked about kind of home where she would do best, Jodi's foster mom replies that she would do well anywhere where they can appreciate a real sweetie.
