Age: 12 years Gender: Male Color: Liver/White Weight: 55 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-bred Well, it seems it's my turn to share my story. My former "dad", whom I've lived with since I was a puppy, took me to the shelter and instructed them to "put me to sleep". Why on earth would he do that to me after so many years of loyalty and devotion? It seems all the doggie angels were watching over me that day, because the compassionate shelter employees refused to "discard" me because they saw a happy and friendly guy, full of energy and vivacity, with many years still ahead. My "dad" did take the time to share some things about me. I have lived as an inside dog with adults in a pretty quiet home, and I am housetrained. They don't believe I have any apparent health issues either. The volunteers and I are just starting to get to know each other, so I guess there will be more information to come on my dazzling personality. I think they'll be pleasantly surprised. Well, the holidays are approaching. Thanksgiving and Christmas just won't be the same without a family to share them with. I'll try my best to be a strong boy, and keep my chin up.
