His owner was transferred to Florida and could not take Thunder with him. Now Thunder is wondering what he did to deserve this, and why he was abandoned at this time in his life. Thunder is great with children, good with other dogs, and will chase cats (so better off in a no cat home). He is completely housetrained, great in the car, and knows basic obedience. He also is used to using a doggie door. Thunder loves to go on walks and has good energy. Update 04/02/06: Thunder is doing great at his new foster home in Henderson. He has made fast friends with the resident Springer Maggie, and her human parents. Thunder had his teeth-cleaned, and was checked out by the foster family's Vet this past Friday, and is in great health. Their Vet does believe that Thunder is deaf due to years of not properly treating him for ear infections. His vision appears to be excellent. Aside from that, he really is a happy-go-lucky gentleman. He is enjoying playing with, and going on daily walks with, his new foster family and Springer sister Maggie.
