I don't know why no one came to claim me, but that is really good news for you because I am available to be adopted! When they found me I had lots of mats in my hair, so I was shaved pretty close -- even my gorgeous curly ears! But I guess that it is only hair and it should grow back quickly. As you can see, I am a beautiful liver and white boy, and I weigh in at 42 pounds. I am a young boy - somewhere between 4 to 5 years old. Of course I am now neutered (ouch) and current on my shots and heartworm preventative. I have been getting along really well with the other dogs at my foster home. I like to play with them, but even more than that I like to curl up in the lap of my foster mom, my foster dad, my foster mom's friends, my foster dad's friends... Well, really, I just like laps. I think that sleeping in laps is my calling in life. I know a few commands, and I am really good at 'sit.' I am fine in a crate at night (but if you want me to sleep with you, I certainly won't complain), and I am house trained. I also am super smart. You should have seen how quickly I figured out the doggy door. I am curious and I have spent a lot of time exploring my new surroundings. I am very friendly around strangers. I haven't gotten to meet cats or kids yet, but I don't imagine that they would be a problem. I love to go on car rides - especially if you will let me sit in the front seat and stick my nose against the windshield. I am a pretty happy-go-lucky kind of boy. Bad habits? Me? Never! Well... I guess that depends on what you consider bad. I do like to dig. But my foster mom and dad are working on getting me to stop digging...
