He will SIT and DOWN on command but we are having major difficulty with STAY. He is extremely active but just as loving. This is not a dog you can put out alone in the back yard to run off steam. He needs to be worked physically and mentally every single day. This is one active little boy! Fortunately he also appears to be very intelligent and is learning quickly. Ian is like a child who has never been taught his bounderies. He will do well in a structured environment. He wants and needs to know limitations. Ian is good with my other dogs and is extremely playful, which has annoyed them a bit. He does listen to them and makes a wide berth around my male dog who has told him off quite forecefully. He wants to chase the cats but means no harm. He quickly loses interest when they sit still and ignore him. He enters his crated nicely and sleeps there quietly. (Thank goodness, because he is a handful! LOL!) This boy would make a fantatstic agility or tracking dog! He already understands sit and stay commands. He wants to please, so should be a quick learner.
