Album Info:

Age: 1 year Gender: Male Color: Liver/white Weight: 42 lbs. Variety: Field-bred Well, I am back at Springerpaw Ranch after being adopted a few days ago. Not a bad thing, though, I really like it here with so much activity and other young dogs to play with. The family that adopted me loved me very much but thought I deserved a more active home. I was originally found as a stray in Show Low, AZ and brought into ESRA's care. I am a naturally skinny boy, but don't tell Mom and Dad that as I have been getting extra food to try to fatten up a bit! Below are a few things you need to know before considering me for adoption: 1. I love other dogs, especially younger ones that I can play with. The tennis ball is my very favorite - I could fetch for hours! 2. Although I ignore the resident kitties, I should probably be in a home without cats. Being an active Fieldie, I have a high prey drive. 3. Even though I run after birds, rabbits and anything else that comes along, I am gun shy so I will NOT hunt. My former owner tried to train me and I just wouldn't do it. 4. I need a very active family who has time to devote to daily exercise and playtime. I would really prefer a stay-at-home Mom or Dad as I don't like to be crated for long hours. 5. Because I like my people so much, I will go in search for them if you are away from home. Therefore, I MUST be crated when you leave. I don't mind it too much, but it is not necessary at night or when you are home. A fenced in yard is a MUST - I will dig out if you don't crate me while gone. 6. I am neutered, UTD on shots, housebroken and know some basic commands. My foster Mom and Dad would like for you to take me to obedience classes so we can communicate with and teach each other. 7. I love car rides. Mom and Dad say I am the best. I lay in the backseat and sleep the whole time. My former adopters couldn't say enough good things about me and really want me to find a great home, too! Note from Foster Parents: For a young, active Fieldie, Cooper is one of the best we have ever fostered! He loves people, other dogs and is just an all around great companion. We request that applicants be experienced Springer people, Fieldie would be ideal, as Cooper is very young and active and needs someone to work with him consistently. How does this sound? Are you the right family for me? If so, please have an application on file and email my foster Mom or Dad.
