Hello World, meet Miss SASSY. We can assure you that her name fits her! She is one spunky little girl. She lets you know what she wants and when she wants it, but in a cute way. Play is her middle name! She ended up in the animal shelter because her owners were cited several times for letting her run loose in the neighborhood. Lucky for her because when we picked her up she was filthy dirty, full of mats and fleas and very skinny weighing in at only 29 lbs! Not to mention – she had heartworms. That was before, now she is heartworm free, up to date on all shots, spayed, well groomed and weighs 35 lbs! She was excellent during grooming and that session revealed a beautiful dark liver coat that shines like the sun! She is crate trained. She loves people and other dogs so she could be an only child or join a family with another active dog companion who likes to play. She is very very, attentive and responsive, and comes when her name is called with her little tail awaggin. Sassy does need someone to teach her manners but she is smart and will catch on quickly. We are looking for a wonderful home for this little character who will take much better care of her than her previous owners!!!
