Hello Maria. Was drawn like a magnet to this hilarious photo, as I was nearly 4mths ago! Have you ever tried sprinkling pepper where he likes lying? I do it in the "Benjie Holes", and it works, except that you have to replenish the pepper after rain or watering! Just had a thought! What about trying to find a sucker, and planting it somewhere else? It might be interesting to see if it's the plant or the position! Actually, I'm revisiting, Maria, because I wanted to tell you about our Rainbow Lorikeets - they are at least twice (or more!) the size of our Budgerigars/Parakeets! I forgot to say that in my explanation of the difference in names between Countries! Regards. Margaret downunder. (PS:I love your dog, and would give him a big hug, if I met him!!)

Just a note to rjscholten: the answer to your question? Because he hadn't finished for the day!! They are very methodical creatures, I've found - always a method in their madness! Regards. Margaret.Qld.Au.

No No Maria - just clever dog! This ensures you pay attention (and co-incidentally is lovely and soft, and cool to the belly, where there isn't much hair!) Also, you've got to admit, the interesting shaped leaves form a perfect frame for such a lovely, happy dog. I love dogs, as you may have noticed, but how come I don't get to capture their naughty moments? Like when Benjie went walkies all by himself (TWICE IN ONE AFTERNOON/NIGHT!!!) through a gate with a mind of it's own that kept opening. Benjie checks out that jolly gate regularly, just in case it's had another "opened moment"! I guess he's a clever/naughty dog too - he reckons he can't get to know the neighbours without wandering around the neighbourhood (by himself, of course, because then he can go into all the opened gates to see if there's any cat that wants to play chasey!) The other monumentally naughty thing they both engage in, is digging in our NEW gardens - they reckon it's to hide the bone collection, but I know better - it's an interesting activity, and such fun!! Also, Benjie has a lot of Australian Terrier in him, and I know how they love to dig. BTW, one of my twin sons, John, who lives in Adelaide, is starting up his own Photography business, and the shots of Jedda in action are on his website. He has a talent I could never aspire to, but your photos are outstanding too - such talent around, and I can only dream, and try again! I started this little chat because you asked me a question, and would you believe it, I can't remember the question! I'll have to go back to the screen and look for it! Regards. Margaret.

Maria, I still cannot write in your message center...here is the answer to your question about the recipe Maria, the pasta is on the very bottom. The meat is a fish called Talapia. It's a white fish. It covered with bread crumbs. the kind you buy at the grocery store in a can...bread crumbs for breading. It's baked at 475 for 15 minutes. The veggies are sauted in lemon butter sauce and poured on top of the fish...

Oh dear, no wonder you call him a bad dog!! He must think it is the softest spot in the yard to lay. He is a very beautiful dog though.
