Variety: Field-Bred Jake was brought into ESRA due to a change in the family dynamics and a move taking place and the family could not take Jake with them. If you are looking for a love bug, Jake is your guy! He is a real people dog. He loves to be wherever you are and he is a lover and snuggler who wants a lot of affection and enjoys laying by the fireplace snoozing. He is house trained and knows his commands. You don't have to worry about him taking off as he stays in the yard. He loves going for walks hunting chipmunks and gofers and does not pull on the leash. He is good with children and has been around children 6 and up. He loves car rides and prefers to sit in the passenger seat taking in the sights. Jake enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along well with cats also and the foster family also has birds that he doesn't bother. He likes to play with his toys and shows no toy or food aggression. He does like to get into the garbage at times; those smells are hard to resist!
