I was picked up as a stray, and since nobody claimed me, I was released to a family who has been kind enough to take care of me until I find my Forever Home. Thanks, ESRA! I went to the vet, and they guess that I am about a year old. The doctor gave me a clean bill of health, and commented on my beautiful coat, which is a glossy deep liver and white. I was also "fixed" as they say, and it wasn't so bad! I feel better than ever. I may have been a stray, but I have a lot of class. I lay quietly while my foster family eats, and never beg or whine for food. As far as counter surfing goes, I am almost too small to reach the top of the kitchen counter! I don't mind my crate as much as I used to, but I prefer to be stretched out on the floor, or curled up on a couch. I just love people, and they love me, too. Everyone comments on how gentle, sweet, and adorable I am. I am a happy little guy, and weigh just 36 pounds. I'm too big to fit in a hand bag, but its almost like I am a permanent puppy! The nice thing is, I have all of my permanent teeth and don't feel the need to chew on things like furniture and household items. I love to play with other dogs and made a great friend just today. Penny and I chased and played all day long. I didn't think I liked her at first, but I judged too quickly, and soon realized I like other pups! I love kids, too, and know to be gentle with them. I am a great walking buddy, love a nice stroll on the leash, but it sure is nice to cut loose and sprint around for a bit, too! I would love to be your loyal and faithful friend!
