I was born on October 10, 2004, so that makes me almost 17 months old. Becuase I have my full coat and all my feathers, I do look very mature for my age, but I am still a pup. Oh don't worry, I am over all that ugly puppy stuff, like chewing up things that don't belong to me and more important, I have the house training thing down perfectly. I'm accustomed to having a doggie door but if you don't have one, I will ask to go outside. I'm flexible that way. I had some obedience training when I was very young, but no one had time to keep teaching me, and I've forgotten almost everything. Now I'm ready for more training. I really pay attention when someone speaks to me because I want to please them and do the correct thing. I know I can be a perfect Springer with some guidance and patience. I'm very typical of the breed, affectionate, fun loving, outdoors, kind of guy. Fetching is my forte. Chasing balls or just running with a toy in my mouth is great fun for me. I'm well socialized. I love playing dog games with the other canines that live here. I'm not sure about that other species called cats. I haven't had any experiences with them. I love children too. I'm a strong sturdy boy, so maybe kids 8 and older would be best. I'm good at the groomer, because I know how handsome I will be when they finish. I ride OK in the car. I get a little nervous if I'm not sure where I'm going, but I calm down in a few minutes. I hate being crated. I just can't get used to being so confined. On the medical report, I'm in great health, neutered, and up to date on all my vaccinations. I'm really looking for someone to be my companion forever. I want to give lots of Springer's kisses and get hugs from my people.
