Poor little guy was rescued from an animal shelter in Louisiana just a day before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Good thing too, as he was severely underweight at only 28 lbs! He has the body and coat of a Setter with the head of a Springer - what a wonderful combination! His long tail waves in the breeze like a beautiful proud flag! He learns quickly and wants to please. At his foster home, he immediately got along with all of the other foster dogs and learned to go in and out of the doggie door by following their lead. He has never had an accident in his crate or in the house. He gets along well with a variety of dogs of different breeds, ages, and genders. He learned quickly to be easy with the older dogs and to play with the younger ones. Even though Solomon is a mellow fellow - he would love to go to a home where he has a yard and the opportunity for regular exercise.
