Hi - Yes, my sweet Ash is a beautiful boy -- I agree :) He is very photogenic -- seems like he can't take a bad picture. He was purchased from a breeder in Portland, Oregon - his pedigreed name is Savatar's Ashland Othello. Sadly, however, she has retired from breeding cats, so I can't give you any information on her. In your search for a Black Smoke, check with breeders who breed for the solid colors. They are more likely to have a Black Smoke pop up in their breeding programs. Or if they do not generally have black smokes, they can probably point you in the right direction. I don't know your location, but I did a real quick search and this breeder, http://www.kittyup.net/, has had black smoke kittens in the past -- look at her past litters page and the second picture down includes black smoke. I hope you fine your dream kitty - Regardless of color, there is nothing like a Maine Coon!!!!
