I've lived with my mom since I've been a puppy, and I've been very happy and well cared for. My human brothers were born in 2004 and 2006, and I've had a hard time dealing with toddlers. I guess I need a home with adults and older children. I really am a great dog. I love to snuggle up next to my people on the couch when I'm allowed. I hate being separated from people and get really nervous when they leave. I do scratch a lot at the front door when my family comes and goes, but I think I can learn not to do that with some retraining. It has been something my family has let slide. They are pretty busy. When only one of my parents is out at night, I can wait patiently by the front door for hours until they return. Did I mention that I love cats? Other dogs are OK too, after I get acquainted with them. My mom walks me on a gentle lead. I do love to walk! I get so excited when someone just mentions the word. You should see my eyes light up. I'm healthy and spayed. I'm on a wellness plan with the Banfield Pet Hospital that gives me all my shots and a yearly dental. I'd like to stay on it if there is a Petsmart near my new family.
