Album Info:

Age: 1.5 years Gender: Spayed Female Color: Black and White Weight: 32 lbs Variety: Field-Bred 2/17/07: Abbe is, by far, one of the sweetest dogs I ‘ve had the privilege of ever been around. She’s feeling much better, and as her heath has improved her personality has blossomed too. Her interest in the cats is much improved and she’s learning they are not to be chased. The cats can get on the couch with her, although I do remind her to be a good girl. Abbe is somewhat timid and shy and will need a new home that will help build her confidence with lots of patience and only positive reinforcement. She enjoys her large crate for naps and down time when her foster mom is at work. Abbe does not like to potty in the rain. Abbe is the biggest doll baby, and will be ready for a forever home in about 10 days. She is finishing up her medication and building strength. She has gained 3.5 lbs and can use a few more ;) 2/02/07: Meet Abbe, she is a sweet field bred girl with a full tail. Abbe is another SC shelter girl that came to us with a severe case of kennel cough. Her foster mom is working around the clock to nurse her back to health. It will be a bit longer before she is ready to go but please submit your application today! Abbie's foster mom writes: Abbe was dropped at a shelter when her owners no longer wanted her or the other four family dogs. I can’t imagine why, she is an absolute doll. Abbe slept all the way home from the shelter with her head on my lap and loves attention, especially having her ears rubbed. A very dirty and matted little girl, she was an angel for her bath and trim. Abbe loves everyone she meets and was a big hit at the vet’s office. She’s up to date on all her shots, is heartworm free, crate trained, housebroken, walks very well on a leash and was recently spayed. As with most shelter dogs, Abbe does need to gain a few pounds. Abbe has already learned her new name and basic commands are coming quickly. Although she is fine with other dogs, so far, she is a little too fond of the two resident cats, but is learning they are not to be bothered. Please keep Abbe in your thoughts as she recuperates.
