I'm a black and white, field-bred Springer. I'm about 5 to 7 years old and weigh about 55 lbs. They tell me that I could stand to loose about 10 of those pounds. No problem, that's what Weight Watcher's is for! I wonder if they accept Springers at their meetings? I'd love to go for daily walks with my new family (they say that's real good exercise). I'm a little on the short side for my breed, but that can be a good thing - right? I won't go knockin' things off the table or anything like that. I'm neutered, up-to-date on all my shots and heartworm negative. Everyone always tells me how “cute” I am (I'd prefer handsome, but I'll settle for “cute”). When they go to take me outside, I always pull real hard on the leash to let them know how happy I am to be goin' someplace. My foster Mom says I don't have to do that though because she already knows I love my walks. I just love sniffin' around, or just laying in the sun, or playing around in the yard with my two human foster brothers and my three four-legged foster brothers. Folks say I'm real easy to get along with, I love both with people and other dogs. Kids are okay too. Shucks, I'd be happy just to keep your feet warm or to keep you company while you work in the yard. I'm a dog of simple needs. How 'bout it? Do you have a place in your heart for a swell guy like me? I promise I won't break it. Notes from Joey's foster mom: Joey is an absolute doll. He has gotten along with every other dog (male and female) that he has met.
