Album Info:
Age: 10 Years Gender: Spayed Female Color:Black/White Weight: 29 lbs. Variety: Field Bred Cheyanne is a 10 yr old female spayed field bred Springer and is an absolutely lovely dog to be with. Cheyanne has been with me for 7 weeks now. She had gone through one surgery for the removal of breast tissue before coming into ESRA, then she came into ESRA and was found to have some more lumps on another breast and underwent another surgery with all biopsies coming back negative. She is now at the end of her recovery and is ready to find her forever home. She is up to date with shots and is heartworm negative. She is housebroken and lets you know when she needs to go outside by giving you a lot of kisses and/or won't leave you alone until you guess what she needs. When you say "outside" she will make a b-line for the door and wag her tail till you catch up. Cheyanne gets along very well with her foster brother and sister. She likes cats but will give chase when a cat is running from her only because she thinks they are playing with her. She will walk on a leash but walks better when a harness type collar is used. She also counter surfs but is too short to reach anything. Cheyanne loves my grandchildren and lies and snuggles with them. They can play baby (plush toys) with her without a worry. Cheyanne loves soft plush toys and has a very soft mouth. She enjoys "Scooby Snacks", Milk Bones and her very favorite Pig's Ears! She will follow you from room to room and enjoys belly rubs, ear scratches and lots of hugs and wet nose kisses. Some things you may not like are that she lies on furniture and she will jump on the bed and sleep with the person she has chosen and we have a very hard time getting her stubborn self off the bed. She also still jumps up on people's legs and this is being worked on. She will sit for you with a lot of coaxing. Cheyanne has an issue with clean ears, like a lot of Springers and she gets her ears cleaned at least 2-3 times a week. I am sure that anyone who considers this beautiful girl for adoption will come to overlook those minor trespasses, as she is overall such a wonderful girl to have around and will win your heart easily. She will be the most devoted companion you have ever known. Do you have a place in your heart and home for Cheyanne?
